From Mud Classrooms to a Thriving Campus
Kisima Child Care Academy (KCCA) began in 2006 with 83 orphans and just three mud classrooms. Thanks to donors, it has grown into a vibrant campus with 11 brick classrooms, dorms, a dining hall, a deep water well and working facilities.
Transforming Young Lives
Today, 300+ children from struggling families receive quality education and a daily meal. The original orphaned students, most of whom are through high school and even College, now have an education and a future filled with hope.
Excellence & Sustainability
KCCA farms four acres to feed students, while graduates excel academically—42% qualify for top national secondary schools (vs. 10% nationally). Donors also provide full support for orphan graduates in high school, college, and vocational training.
The Challenge Ahead
The greatest needs now are funding the continued education for orphaned graduates, continuing to provide quality education for the underprivileged local community and expanding sustainable farming to secure long-term self-sufficiency.
Together, we can transform lives through education.
